Digital Storytelling

 Big Stories, Small Towns
What I like about this example of digital storytelling is that it shows the personalities of the men being documented. Instead of showing a montage of pictures of the activities they were participating in and the unique goal of the leaders, this story captures the actual life and humor of each subject through footage and video of their interactions. Another aspect that I thought added to the overall story was the interview voiceovers that were integrated giving  more personal and direct information on the work of the men. To me, this story is much more believable and meaningful because it isn't focused just on powerful songs and collages but on capturing the moving character of the subject's everyday life.

Nurstory
This story really caught my attention because it is from the point of view of a nurse which is what I am studying to become. This story was very inspiring and really aimed to make nurses and all health care providers realize that their patients aren't really cases but rather people with names. Although the pictures chosen for this montage weren't very personal, the audio and voiceover that told the actual story compensated making the video meaningful and relatable.
